Getting from Queenstown...Queenstown to Fiordland(Queenstown-Milford Sound-Te Anau-Doubtful Sound) is approximately 287kms (About 4 hours drive time). From Queenstown, head south on State Highway 6 to New Zealand SH 94, then follow SH 94 to Milford Sound. Take Note: Be prepared to go off the grid for a while as there’s almost no phone reception between Te Anau and Milford Sound! It's illegal to drive without Tyre Chains during winter (we also hire tyre chains) |
